University of the Pacific

The University of the Pacific wanted a new video for their admissions department that was different from their then dry and boring video that they felt was not an accurate view of their school. Although we've produced many different types of videos, doing so for a university was a first for us. Which is exactly why we were chosen. And it proved to be an excellent decision when we won the bronze medal award in the category of "Video Admissions" from The National Newspaper of Admissions Marketing called, Admissions Marketing Report.

3rd Light, interviewed several students, wrote the scripts based on their experiences at Pacific and began production with 2 students hosting the video and interviewing their fellow classmates. We showcased the school's beautiful campus, student activities, and made it a fun video that the students were very proud of.

We edited 2 versions of the final video. One for their web site and one for their DVD. This was a great experience and was a full service production from concept, scriptwriting, shooting, editing and mastering for DVD replication and the web.
